The HDR-EX-70-2PS provides the answer with visually lossless video compression technology that applies extremely light compression with no latency. This enables transmission of HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 over a single category cable while ensuring very high, pristine image quality.

The Atlona AT-HDR-EX-70-2PS is an HDBaseT transmitter/receiver kit for high dynamic range (HDR) formats. Part of the comprehensive family of Atlona 4K HDR integration products, the kit is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports 4K/UHD video @ 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, as well as HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps. Another AV industry first, OmniStream offers features for maximizing uptime with primary and redundant networks and AV streams. The system continuously monitors network and streaming integrity, with automatic failover and recovery in the event of signal loss detection. The OmniStream 112 and OmniStream 122 process two channels of encoding and decoding in a single, half-width rack enclosure. This enables 12 channels of processing in just 3U of rack space – twice the capability of other systems – while also allowing excellent cost per channel value.

It can deliver two simultaneous encoded streams from an HDMI source, with the two channels connected into primary and redundant networks, and an OmniStream 122 configured to decode both streams simultaneously. The OmniStream 122 can detect the loss of a physical network connection, or disruption in an AV stream, and then automatically switch over to the secondary network for continuous system operation.

The OmniStream 112 is compatible with the OmniStream 121 and OmniStream 122 decoders.
