The Home Theater Plate (HTP-7.2) is a Decora style double-gang in-wall connection plate designed to allow easy hookup of all the speakers in a 5.1, 6.1 or even up to a 7.2 surround sound system.

Russound® 7.2 Home Theater Wallplate

It includes terminals for up to seven speakers and two powered subwoofers. Its Decora design allows for each half to be used independently if desired, for two  single-gang plates, one with 4 pairs of stereo binding posts and one with 3 pairs and a pair of RCA jacks. Flexible to be used in multiple configurations, each connection is clearly labeled. The gold-plated binding posts and RCA connectors make for easy and secure connections, and the captured posts won’t turn while they are being tightened. The 5-way binding posts can accept the following:  bare or tinned wire up to 12 gauge in thickness, pins, spade lugs, and single or double banana plugs. The powered subwoofer connections use high quality gold-plated RCA connectors.

Using only gold-plated connectors for both the 5-way binding posts and for the RCA connectors means trouble-free, durable connections for all of your audio gear.

By keeping the labeling simple with 1,2,3,4 and A,B,C,D you are free to mix and match plates in any installation.

Designed for subwoofer connections, these connectors can be used with any RCA compatible connection.

The HTP-7.2 can be installed as a 2-gang design with the included cover plate, or you can mix and match each half as individual plates into any size Decora installation.

Double-sided connectors make for easy connections to either the 5-way binding posts or to the RCA connectors. No soldering needed on any of the connections.

Russound® 4 Pair Single Source Impedance Matching Speaker Selector

The SS-4.2 offers two operating configurations: Impedance Matching and Bypass. Impedance-matching mode provides automatic overload protection for use even with high-power amplifiers. This mode allows multiple pairs of speakers to be safely connected to an amplifier using the built-in automatic impedance-matching circuitry.

Bypass mode is used for direct speaker switching with remote impedance-matching volume controls. This allows local control in each room as well as higher efficiency; however, in this mode the impedance matching and overload protection are not engaged.

Designed for use with 8-ohm loudspeakers, the SS-4.2 also provides safe connection to bridged amplifiers and even works in applications where there is a floating ground. It has spring-loaded speaker terminals for quick connection and can accommodate speaker wire up to 12 gauge.
